2021 and 2022 News: See Our "ZOOM MEETINGS" page for details.
Valley Parish Nurse Ministry is beginning a program in March 2020 to help people meet together online via the technology of Zoom meetings on a computer or phone. Initially they are usually scheduled the first and third Tues. evenings, of the month from 7 – 8 pm.
In these times when we cannot always get together, we can still pray together and find ways to connect. God works through people and we need to find new ways to connect with each other. And it’s in that spirit we ask if you will help us link with others by making these Zoom offerings known. The Zoom links are the same each week. We are sill RECYCLING Small Inkjet Cartridges. Cannon, Dell and HP are the most popular inkjets from home printers. We cannot recycle toner cartridges from larger printers, copiers and fax machines. If you would like a collection container, contact us. More about fundraising on the events page.
Valley Parish Nurse Ministry would like your help with a project we began in 2009, The Nightingale Tribute. We would like to present it to any local family as a way to recognize their loved ones recent passing and dedication to the nursing profession. We have made it available to local funeral homes for distribution before or during services. It will be framed, individualized and accompanied by a white rose. Please consider suggesting its use and keeping us informed if you know a family who is grieving a recent loss of a nurse. Thank you.
